Shirt & Shit

Pedestrian A: (talking to his girlfriend) Girl, look at that dark brown shirt! Is it a see-though?.
Me: Yuck! Were they just talking about shit?

Hello, World! It has been a few days since I started writing this blog. I honestly do not know where this would go. I do realize that this blog has lots of shirt/shit. I apologize. If you don't agree and you kinda feel that this can be something good, please leave me some comments. Else, let me know too how I could add some more spices in this formula of mine.

Really appreciate it! Don't run around with your shirt on!

Hard & Had

Lory: "Oh, man. My wife, she's been complaining about this purple color of our kitchen wall every time I come back from work. I can't relax, man. She thinks it's too dark, and gloomy, and depressing. How I wish, understanding what a woman isn't this hard."
Rick: "You should move to the world without R, Lor! I heard that there is no such word as hard, there. Instead, you'll have had figured your wife out at the time you're there. Really, you should go."
Lory: "Had her figured out? Nice! Can I also have had her cook, clean, put on a diet, take care of the children herself, and work too?"
Rick: "... (marriage counseling needed, I think)"

Personally, I hope that this life would be easy and nothing won't be hard. But it isn't the reality. Reality says life is hard. And I can't argue with that. In many points of my life, things don't always go very smoothly. I do need to do something to get it. And after all the hard work, the effort always pays off.

Hard is a higher stepping stone to climb up the journey.

Tear & Tea

Construction worker 1: "J, help me tear down the wall. The floor guy is going to come tomorrow and we need to get this room ready by 5."
Construction worker 2: "I like a strong tea, B, don't tea it down."

My favorite tea at the moment is chocolate mint spices edition by Pickwick. #outoftopic

There is time to tear and there is to build.

When an idea fails, it is okay to tear the paper, crumble it, and shoot it down to the bin. Start scratch, picture  a better future, and start anew. I think, it is completely human to be torn by the roughness of this world. In a way, it allows our immune system to do its job and heal the wounds. At last, we get stronger.

Brother & Bother

Noah: "Hello Big Brother, what's up? Have you seen Young Brother around? He borrowed my Jag last night to impress this crush of him and no one in the club had seen him coming. I am just hoping that he won't do anything stupid to my baby."
(The way Big Brother listen to this utterance of  Noah in the world without R).
Noah: "Hello Big Bother, what's up? Have you seen Young Bother around? Bla bla bla. (Noah, I am not his body guard, how am I supposed to know? Bother bother bothering. Stop it. You keep saying things that bother bothering me)."
Brotherhood is something that this world should cherish on. It is divine. In many cultures, family bonds can push people to go above and beyond (the law even). Imagine: Godfather Trilogy. Thereafter, it gives one a sense of belonging, a sense of community, a sense of being looked after --a sense that most of us don't get at home.

Today is the time to treasure your brothers, sisters, and the ones who think that you are his brother or her sister. It doesn't matter whether they are blood-related to you or not for maybe sooner or later we might need their hands to bring us back to our feet. Anyhow, go give them a big bear hug and lots of kisses before the world starts turning into the world without R and you wanted to shout: "Stop bothering me!"

Sorry & Soy

In the world without R, there is no such thing as the word 'sorry'.

Delila: "Please, forgive me! I didn't do it on purpose. It was all accident. I didn't realize it is going to turn out like this. I am so so..."
Me: (cutting her apology) "I don't know what you're getting to. You're so soy? I like tofu and tempe that I know. But I need more than just soy to make em. I need yeast, a bucket, stove, and.. whatever.. Just save your soy. I don't feel like making it today."
Delila: "Aargh!" (starting a cat attack towards me)

That's how the story goes in the world without R. Luckily, we don't really live there. But anyhow, I am very curious about these things:

  1. Do you need to say sorry to someone today, or
  2. Do you need to accept one's apology?

Before it becomes soy, I sincerely hope that we go ahead and say the word. It is not too late yet. Who knows your biggest enemy would turn to be your closest mate. Or else, we'll make our world a slightly better place without all the disgruntling feelings.

Peace!
R

P.S. leave some of your thoughts and experiences on how you actually try to sincerely apologize to someone or how you accept one's apology (even though what she's done to you is unforgivable), and how your relationship turns to be on the comment box below. Thank you. I really would love to hear them.

Friend & Fiend

John was in a restaurant with four of his friends. He was going to pray for the meal. O, wait. This is the world without R. So, he ended up paying fo* the meal and having a spooky dinne* with his fiends.

*laughs*. Hi Friends. Welcome to my blog. I am glad that you discover this page. FYI, I am a very ordinary person who likes to think, dream, and experiment on anything. I am hoping that someday one of my experiments will turn to be something equivalent to Einstein's famous formula E = mc2. Here I am dreaming again.

Anyway, this blog is inspired by Beyonce's I was here. The song that she sung for United Nations World Humanitarian Day (August 19, 2012). It got me thinking, if there is no Raissa in the world, if Raissa wasn't here, how would this world turn out to be. Well, of course, I can't see the big picture yet, I haven't even accomplished many things in life. But I really like to start thinking that everyone of us matters. I matter. You matter. There is a great purpose for every living soul living on this beautifully blue planet.

I am made believe that this world without R sucks. One example: people will start calling me Ash Asha (no offense for those whose names start with Ash), or La La (like the Chinese who can't really pronounce 'Rrrrrr') and I would feel terrible because I really love to hear my name shouted out correctly. Raissa with the Ra like Raw Raw in Lady Gaga's Bad Romance.

Back to business, the concept of the blog is quite simple. I would play with some words, especially the ones with the letter 'R' and try to make something out of it. Hopefully, it would be some thought provoking materials. If not, just take it as a way to learn some new words -in case you haven't known of that specific word I mention.

Hope you enjoy it! Have a life-changing day!

One day, one message, one goal. To inspire people all over the world to do something good, no matter how big or small, for someone else. ~UN World Humanitarian Day
